Swing Circus

Swing CircusWelcome to the cartoon-noir universe of Jay Alexander’s New Swing Circus. This exciting new offering in themed events combines the mystery of a speakeasy and the thrill of vaudeville. Step into another era as a hired thug in a cool suit asks for the pass-word. Inside, a gangster’s moll in a tight red dress and plenty of rhinestone’s takes a swig from a martini glass. She then breathes a four foot flame toward the bar. Cigarette girls roam the crowd hawking goods from the Trick City Novelty Company. On stage the deliciously evil band leader inspires 10 pieces of brass to start blowin’ a swing number that would make Benny Goodman proud! The real fun starts when Jay Alexander hits the room at the speed of sound with a show combining the punch of vaudeville, the heat of a speakeasy and plenty o’ shtick! This show will make the joint jump like a cat on a hot tin roof.

After hearing his voice, they finally convinced him to join the MuddCatts and perform Elvis tunes. His favorite thing about performing is seeing the audience having a good time. His humble attitude, amazing voice, showmanship and striking resemblance to the “King” make him one of the top Elvis acts in the country.

Fabulous Pelicans

Fabulous Pelicans

One of the top rock ‘n roll show bands on the planet, the Fabulous Pelicans have a prestigious resume including performances at the Olympic Games, Super Bowl, both Democratic and Republican National Conventions and were selected U.S.O. ‘Entertainers of the Year’ performing for American troops throughout the world including 5 landings on aircraft carriers — at sea!

While their extensive play list ranges from Billie Holliday to today’s dance hits and encompasses musical styles including Motown, disco, country and standards, the heart of the Fabulous Pelicans’ music beats strongest in the compelling rock and roll of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Led by the soaring solos of 5 platinum record guitarist, Greg Douglass, former lead guitarist with the Steve Miller Band and Van Morrison among others, the band can fill a dance floor faster than a ‘Big Old Jet Airliner’. And those that aren’t dancing are standing up singing along with the band.

Fun to watch, energetic, interactive and not the least bit pretentious, the ‘Fab Pelis’ are the perfect band for groups just looking to have a great time.

If you love what you do…it shows. The most heard comment about a Fabulous Pelicans performance is, “It looks like the band is having so much fun up there…”
