San Diego’s Band Overboard is excited to bring the “yacht rock” experience to you! The smooth grooves, four part harmony vocals, killer guitar solos, and overall lush, full sound will take you back to the late 70’s/early 80’s when artists like Christopher Cross, Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates and Toto dominated the airwaves. Band Overboard hails from Point Loma Peninsula in sunny San Diego, located within a five mile radius of ten yacht clubs. You could say yacht rock is in their blood. Band Overboard consists of top musicians from various popular bands around town all brought together by a common love of the yacht rock/soft rock genre of the late 70’s and early 80’s. The songs are about as catchy as they come, just try NOT singing along with them. “Baby Come Back”, “Rich Girl”, “Ride Like the Wind”…you can’t do it! The music has it all, skilled songwriting, superb musicianship, and flawless production.
