John Malcolm Penn is a long time favorite performing artist of desert resorts and country clubs. John sings and accompanies himself on guitar, and a variety of musical instruments. He is a roster artist for the Orange County Performing Arts Center performing school assemblies and workshops, and in addition, teaches at the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Summer program, and is a roster artist and instructor for the Indio Performing Arts Center. Beginning as a staff writer with Screen Gems and Colgems in 1970, he is a renowned songwriter with songs currently on satellite and BBC radio, and has released many CDs.
