Marianne Sierk

Originally from Rochester NY, Marianne moved to NYC after graduating from theSyracuse University Drama Department. She was a regular at Stand-Up NY in Manhattan and produced her own comedy shows anywhere she could – even if it meant a bar in a subway station or a restaurant basement. Her hard work paid off as she was the winner of the Hollywood Imporv Comedy Contest in 2003 and a finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival.

She became a regular on VH1’s “All Access” series and got a spot on Comedy Central’s new series, “Live at Gotham”. She’s been featured on NBC’s “Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen” and will be on the next 7 episodes of VH1’s “I Love the New Millenium”. She also taped the BBC’s “the World Stands Up”, a show featuring international comedians, in London last winter.
