BIO


Skip Johnson is a graduate of the Northern Illinois University School of Music. He is a founding member and band leader of “THE ZIPPERS”, touring the nation as one of the most popular corporate dance/show bands in the market today. As an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, he brings his many talents to the stage as a solo artist performing equally well on saxophone, acoustic guitar, and voice. His repertoire includes a vast array of songs by popular singer/songwriters, as well as beautiful saxophone instrumentals of pop and jazz tunes, and haunting lyrical solo acoustic guitar pieces. With an uncanny ability to fit the mood of any party or event, Skip draws on his immense repertoire, extremely versatile vocal range, and accomplished instrumental ability to please the most critical of audiences.
